UAB Campus nonexempt employees utilize the Campus Kronos Timekeeping System in order to track and document their daily hours worked on their UAB Campus primary assignment. Benefit eligible nonexempt employees also utilize the Campus Kronos Timekeeping System to document their paid non-worked hours which includes, but not limited to, vacation, sick, personal holiday, bereavement, and jury duty.
UAB Compus nonexempt employees concurrently utilize the Oracle TEL document to record their total daily work hours and paid non-worked hours for approval of payroll processing.
The below documentation will assist the nonexempt employee with utilizing the Campus Kronos System to track and document their worked and paid non-worked hours for payroll processing.
Campus Kronos Online Training Course for Non-Exempt Employees
The course titled Campus Kronos for Non-Exempt Employees is geared towards instructing non-exempt employees on utilizing the Campus Kronos system for documenting their worked and non-worked hours for payroll processing. Campus Kronos users are able to self-register and attend at any time through the UAB Learning Management System (LMS).
Email to All Campus Kronos Non-Exempt Employees on August 20th, 2018:
On August 22nd, 2018, the Campus Kronos timekeeping system will begin phase 1 of the Campus Kronos Compensatory Time Project:
A new column will appear on your timecard:
A transfer drop down box will appear in the My Timestamp Widget.
A "Comp Time" line will appear in the Accruals Tab in the Totals Drawer along with the other current accruals (Vacation, Sick, & Personal Holiday) that will show the available balance of Comp time hours.
